The year is 1977. In a secret research facility, what should have been a routine experiment, results in the creation of an innocent slime girl, that causes people to start behaving oddly , but most important of all... Increasing their appetite!
This is the story of Kelly, a young scientist who has just been hired to work there, and is now given a very important task: To find and contain the source of this catastrophe, and prevent it from reaching the rest of the world!
¶ Game Overview
You play as Kelly, a new member of science staff whose first day is suddenly derailed when a seemingly safe experiment goes horribly wrong, creating what seems to be a humanoid slime. Throughout the game you gain access to more and more of the facility, getting to see just how strange the research gets, and how the constantly spreading slime is affecting areas you have already visited...
See the comparable normalcy of Sector A, hopefully don't get blasted in the top-secret Advanced Weapons division, see how cut-throat the cafeteria's warring factions are and even delve into the distant past... All to uncover what is really going on, and how you can stop the strange affliction the slime is spreading throughout your workplace!
Despite being made in RPG maker, the game does not engage with the turn-based combat system apart from a few very easy encounters for story reasons, instead preferring to shine through its narrative, the hand-made and highly detailed sprites and its unique, stylized setting reminiscent of Half Life, with a particularly fetishy twist of course.
Areas you have completed can be revisited for side quests, and the NPCs you talked to before may end up changing quite a bit over the course of the game - the world lives and changes as the story progresses, and not everyone is as pleased with what is going on as Kelly... Best watch your back, newbie.
